EDUCATION OVERSIGHT BOARD MEETING MINUTES June 10, 2005 - 9:30 A.M. Casa Fina International Board Room 1718 South Cheyenne Avenue Tulsa, OK 74119 BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Don McCorkell, Kenneth Bridges, Gerald Dickerson and Ron Dryden BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Susan Field, Patrick Gilmore, Representative Odilia Dank, and Senator Angela Monson OTHER REGULAR ATTENDEES: Office of Accountability Staff: Robert Buswell and Matt Hesser VISITORS: Marilyn McCorkell, Penny Williams, Ray Pearcey, Carolyn Harpole Call to Order and Roll Call: Mr. McCorkell called the meeting to order at 9:43 a.m. and declared a quorum to be present. Approval of Minutes: Minutes for the March 16, 2005 board meeting were unanimously approved as submitted. Discussion of the Oklahoma School Performance Review Program: Mr. Dryden made a motion to accept the "Oklahoma School Performance Review – Stillwater Public School District" document. Mr. Dickerson seconded the motion. It passed unanimously. Board discussion then revolved around modifying the Oklahoma School Performance Review Program to include the review of school sites. Working Lunch: Mr. McCorkell provided lunch for the Board, staff and guests. Discussion of the Oklahoma School Performance Review Program: Discussion continued concerning the possible modifications to the Oklahoma School Performance Review Program.
